RESEARCH AT THE VHA
The best healthcare practices are fueled by research, discovery and innovation at the desktop and bedside.
VHA invests in partnerships to conduct health services research and evaluation for the benefit of Ontarians. We study the needs of people, their caregivers, and health care providers, to develop evidence-based solutions to tough health and social care problems.
Our academic partners include InterRAI Canada based at the School of Public Health and Health Systems, University of Waterloo, and the University of Ottawa. Our research focuses on Health and Care Experiences; Equitable Access to Services; Models of Care Delivery, and the Impact of the Global COVID-19 Pandemic.
